As the Samudra Manthan progresses, Shree emerges from the ocean. Lord Vishnu appears and she accepts him as her eternal consort. The Asuras are left furious when Lord Vishnu returns back the powers of the Devas. Next, when the Mahavish emerges, neither the Devas nor the Asuras agree to consume it.
