Janaki a simple, naïve and an innocent girl from a small village, Janaki's eyes are filled with dreams that her father has dreamt for her about marring an NRI. Preethi Janaki's cousin sister manages to get married to the alliance that would have come for Janaki. Janaki's father dies out of the same guilt and with it dies Janaki's dreams. By an odd quirk of fate Surya comes in Janakiís life, there are a lot of hurdles that both Surya and Janaki will have to go through in their lives. Surya is madly in love with Janaki but will Janaki also love him? Will they end up together?
