Advocate Raja Shekaram (N. T. Rama Rao) most loyal and respectable person in a village he leads a happy family life with his wife Kamala (Savitri) who is timid and short-tempered younger brother Krishna (Krishna) who involves himself with unnecessary quarrels in the village. Kamala tries to protect Krishna from these quarrels. Kamala's father saves 1 lakh rupees with Nagaraju (Nagabhushanam), the landlord of their village. One day when Kamala goes to Nagaraju's house for collecting her money he asks her to come some other day to collect the amount, on her way back to her home she witnesses a murder done by Nagaraju's acolyte creating fear in her. Meanwhile, Rajashekaram gets into trouble with Nagaraju regarding some land issue on behalf of the villagers and also helps his brother Raghava (Sobhan Babu) to marry without his permission which irritates him. When Kamala goes again to collect her money from Nagaraju, he warns her that he will take revenge against her husband. On hearing this Krishna, who accompanies her gets angry and warns Nagaraju. Angered at this, Nagaraju puts up the false case on Krishna accusing of beating him in his house and surprisingly Kamala also admits to it. Rest of the story is why Kamala took such a decision and how Rajashekaram teaches a lesson to Nagaraju. Show more
