Younger son of Banerjee family loved Rupa,(Bidisha) the daughter of rich man. Rupa's father insulted Aparesh (Nirmal Kumar). Aparesh decided to send Ayan (Abhisek Chatterjee) abroad, but was not able to manage to raise the required money. To maintain his prestige, Sima (Chumki) sold her mother's jewellery.
