Kaushalya Devi is a top businesswoman of the country. Her son Rajeev returns to India after completing his studies abroad. At the company's event Kaushalya Devi hands over the reins of the company to Rajiv. Rajiv's uncle Dayal is very jealous of Kaushalya's success and wants to destroy her empire. Kaushalya meets with an accident and goes into a coma. Rajiv reaches out to the best doctors from India and abroad to cure her. Unfortunately there is no improvement. One day a Sadhu (priest) gives Rajiv a remedy to save his mother. Rajiv has to live the life of a beggar for 45 days. Everyday till 12:00 midnight he has to beg and donate whatever he receives.
