Govinda (Kumar Govind), an orphan, is taken in by a wealthy couple when their son Ramesh (Ramesh Aravind) befriends him. Govinda meets a blind girl named Kasturi (Sudha Rani) and falls in love with her. Circumstances lead to their separation and Kasturi regains her eyesight after an operation.
