Assam, Parts of North Bengal and several North-Eastern states wake up to major earthquake tremors

Assam earthquake tremors felt across North Bengal and other parts of North-Eastern states. Strong aftershocks felt on the 6.7 Richter scale of the earthquake. An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter Scale hit Sonitpur, Assam on Wednesday at 7:51 AM, said National Centre for Seismology.
