Tortured by her mother-in-law, a helpless woman sets out to commit suicide along with her three daughters. Avali stops this from happening and brings her to Tukaram. Tukaram is disturbed by the manner in which married women are treated by their in-laws, and decides to take action! He schedules a kirtan for the all the married women in the village and educates them about respecting both genders equally. Elsewhere, Lord Vithoba teaches the hateful mother-in-law a valuable lesson!
