Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj Criticizes LG Over Recruitment Delays in Health ServicesAAP leader and Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has expressed frustration with the Lieutenant Governor (LG) regarding delays in recruitment for health services. Bhardwaj stated that despite multiple letters since April, the services department, which comes directly under the LG, has not taken action to fill numerous vacant posts. He emphasized that waiting for UPSC and DSSSB processes will take years, urging for immediate recruitment on a contract basis. According to a committee led by Dr. Sarin, the primary issue is a severe shortage of doctors, specialists, and paramedical staff, which necessitates urgent recruitment.
