Raghuvaran is really a bad man, though he works in the villain's den. Probably the idea is that he is a villain all right, but one who is rational in his approach. However the point is Raghuvaran, as the brother of the hero, has done his job well. Similarly behind the facade of patriotism, Nasser (Satyamoorthy) is a coward, again with a conscience. He commits suicide when his two sons are too young to be left alone. Influenced by the villain who helps them, the two brothers adopt wrong means to earn their livelihood. The elder of the two is Raghuvaran. Arjun is younger. How the latter turns over a new leaf, forms the rest of the story.
